Hot Stone application

As a complement to our treatment we offer application of hot stones.

Unlike other Hot Stone treatments, we do not use volcanic stones but stones originating from a special place in the Swiss mountains. It was on an excursion last summer that we discovered a highly ”energetic” place at the feet of the Dents du Midi, a small mountain chain, in the Canton du Valais: seven summits believed to be acupuncture points of the Earth, breathtaking landscapes, a little green lake with a giant crystal in the middle, and thousands of stones and stone pieces scattered on the ground, at more than 2100 meters. For the story, an Amazon Indian Wiseman, visiting Switzerland, would have looked at the Dents-du-Midi and, stunned by their beauty, would have exclaimed: “ The Spirit must live on these summits”…

We carefully selected stones that seemed to keep the “heat” better than others and loaded them into our backpacks…

Their shapes are unique and cannot be used to rub the skin. But they are surely a wonderful way to end a massage session : preheated in hot water and typically laid out along the spine ( on your seven chakras- your own energy centers) or placed into your hands, the heat from the stones relaxes muscles and aids in mental relaxation.
