Are massages reimbursed by insurance providers ?

Catherine Paquier-Roulin is a certified Massotherapist accredited by ASCA. Her classical therapies are covered by most insurance providers, most of the time without doctor prescription, depending on the health insurance plan you have (Zusatzversicherung).

What should I expect during my first massage therapy visit ?

Please allow more time on your first visit to fill out the anamnesis, a health/pain history form. Afterwards you will be asked general questions to establish what areas you would like worked on, if there are any conditions needing to be addressed and to determine if massage is appropriate for you.

What do I wear during the massage ?

You need to undress except for underwear. During the massage, you will be covered with a sheet and blanket at all times except the area being worked on.

How long will a session be ?

The average full-body massage treatment lasts approximately one hour, except the first time since we have to fill out some paperwork. A half-hour appointment only allows time for a partial massage session, such as neck and shoulders, back or legs and feet. Always allow relaxation time prior to and after the session.

Do you offer house call visits ?

If you cannot come to our Practice, we can arrange a massage session at your place. Depending on the location, we will agree on a flat-rate sum to cover traveling costs.

Can I pay with a credit card ?

No. The first treatment is to be paid cash at the end of the session. If a therapy is scheduled, a bill will be sent to you along with a payment slip.
